The people who use drugs frequently suffer from human right abuses at public places because it is a complex disease which affects multiple brain circuits, including those involved in reward and motivation, learning and memory as well as inhibitory control over behaviour. It is in fact a kind of chronic relapsing disease wherein the drug user spends time looking for and using all illegal drugs. Some of the common drugs used by addicts are- Heroin, Cocaine LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide), Mandrax, Barbiturates and a variety of Opiates. Estimates indicate that there’re around three million drug-addicts in India which can be counted from streets to high-profile residence.
